Story

Hope 4 More runs a program to support young people struggling with school anxiety. We are 2 mums from Cheshire who found ourselves in crisis when our children were unable to attend school due to anxiety (now known as ESBA - emotionally based school avoidance). The impact this has on families both emotionally and financially can be devastating. We found ourselves giving up our hard earned careers to care for our children, with little or no support available. Long waiting lists to access CAMHS and other health professionals added to the stress. Not managing to reintegrate your child to school/education adds additional angst wondering what their future will look like. We feel passionately about supporting young people and their families who find themselves in situations like our own. We decided to try and be part of a much needed solution and formed Hope 4 More. We have self- funded our pilot project and in order to keep offering the support we are working hard to raise much needed funds.
