Story
Hope Nature Centre now need a zoo licence to be able to keep their full stock of over 120 animals and are fund raising for the costs involved in the process and for the licence itself.
The centre is a registered charity and comprises a cafe and an animal park that provides work experience for people with learning disabilities, and it is the owls, parrots, emus and tortoises that specifically may be at risk of re-homing if a zoo licence is not secured.
The tea rooms and animal park are a much loved venue for families and the wider community and it is hoped with the support of this community we will be able to raise the monies needed to get this licence in place and secure the future home for all the animals we care for.
