I've raised £2000 to fund the cost of providing solar panels for Holy Child School Ghana to generate electricity and improve security for staff and students

Holy Child School is one of the leading girls high school in Ghana. It is a faith school funded by the church and heavily supported financially by old students. Old students of Holy Child are known as HOPSANs.
It is a tradition in Holy Child that each alumni year group, on its 25th Anniversary, spearheads a sustainable legacy project which addresses a critical need of the school to benefit staff, current students and future students.
In March 2019, HOPSA 94/96 year group will celebrate its 25th anniversary and has chosen to deliver to the School as its Legacy project, a Solar-Powered Electrification System for the Classroom and Administration Blocks.
The school is in dare need of an efficient electricity generating system to keep lights on and also reduce its energy bills.
At the school's 73rd Speech and Prize giving day in March 2019, the 94/96 year group will hand over the Sustainable Energy Project to the School.
The Sustainable Energy Project comprises;
* the supply and installation of solar panels/ inverter system that will provide electricity for the classrooms and administration blocks and improve security
* a 5-year maintenance cover for the electrification system and
* training for Maintenance crew and interested students in the operation and daily maintenance. of the system
We are counting on your generosity to help us leave a legacy for our Alma mater as well as current and future students.
No amount is too small. Thank you for your support.
