We’re hoping to raise funds as a first milestone to help launch Hornsea Youth CIC, a new non profit community interest company focused on creating positive, safe, and inclusive opportunities for the young people in our town.

Hornsea has great young people, but there are limited spaces and services available for them to simply be themselves, feel safe, and be supported by trusted adults. As local youth workers, we see both the potential and the gaps, and we believe this is something the community can build together.

These initial funds will be used to put the foundations in place. Things like youth work insurance, DSL training, and the essential requirements needed to run youth provision properly and safely. This isn’t the end goal, it’s the starting line.

Our longer-term vision is to secure dedicated premises for young people in Hornsea. A consistent, welcoming space they can rely on. That’s a bigger step (around £8,000), but every strong project starts by laying the groundwork together.
