Story
Time is standing still in Hornsea
The clock at Hornsea United Reformed Church has not been ticking since August 2020 – much to the disappointment of the community who view it as their 'Town Clock'.
The repair process has been hampered by 'lock-downs' and Covid restrictions but we now have a, more local firm, able to complete this specialist repair and bring the clock back to life. Unfortunately it requires the workings of the clock to be removed and taken to their Leeds workshop.
As custodians of the clock the elders and members of the church agree that it is important that we make every effort to raise the £5,613 required to achieve this as soon as possible.
We would like to ask the fantastic community of Hornsea to help by making a contribution towards this if they are able.
Thank you.
