I've raised £1500 to pay for Natalie (who has been sleeping rough in Finchley Central) to stay in a hostel for 2 months until her accommodation comes through.

Story

On Wednesday 25th April 2018 we were driving back from doing a drop off (of essential items including sleeping bags, thermal socks, rucksacks and more) to rough sleepers in Camden and Euston. On the way back we passed a homeless lady, Natalie, freezing cold and on the streets in Finchley (on Ballards Lane).

She's waiting for longer-term accommodation to come through but she's been on a waiting list which is 6 months long. She's 4 months in now. The only way to stay off the streets in the meantime is by staying at a hostel which costs £23 a night.

We gave her warm items and paid for the hostel for the night but left thinking, 'what about tomorrow? what about the next day?'

Natalie was so appreciative for our help. She burst into tears as soon as we gave her the money for the night and said she was so overwhelmed at our kindness.

We would love to help keep her warm and safe for the next 2 months in a hostel until she gets her referral accommodation sorted.

Please help by paying £23 for a night's stay. We're trying to reach £1,380 which will pay for the two months' stay. We are in contact with the hostel directly.

If we do happen to reach our target, and surpass it, all additional funds will go towards supporting the homeless, either through essential items or by helping others genuinely in need get into hostels.

We know there are so many people in this situation, and we can't help everybody, but this lady is literally on our door-step and this will make a huge difference to her life.
