Story
Please help us help children in Hounslow this Christmas. We are seeking donations to the Hounslow Christmas Project, to help ensure that no child goes without a gift this Christmas. The schools partnership we are working with has been overwhelmed by the generosity of supporters as we have got this going. We have raised £12,000 through business donations and need to raise £4,000 more through Just Giving.
Our goal is to source through donations at least 1,600 gifts for children in Hounslow in all age ranges whose parents are unable to afford gifts themselves. £10 covers a wrapped gift for one child and every donation makes a difference.
Started by the Hounslow Education Partnership and Seema Malhotra MP, the project is being run by a group of Hounslow volunteers. 3 years agoWe did it! You’ve brought smiles and happiness to children in Hounslow this Christmas. Thanks to your generosity we’ve raised £3,076 for The Hounslow Christmas Project on Just Giving. Combined with donations from local businesses, more than £14,000 has been raised to buy Christmas presents for children whose parents may be unable to afford gifts themselves. The response from our community has been overwhelming and we’ve raced against the clock to buy, wrap and deliver 1,600 presents to children in 42 schools. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
