My dear cousin, Katie and her boyfriend Dustin live in Houston in a first floor apartment building. They left only with their cats as the flood water from Hurricane Harvey was rising. They lost everything, clothes, furniture, you get the picture. They thought they did, but they did not have separate flood insurance. The insurance company told them they could file the claim through renter's insurance, but it would most likely not be approved for reimbursement. Please help if you can. Every little bit helps.

We are asking for monetary donations however big or small, as well as donations of gently used clothing. Katie, Dustin, and several of their neighbors are also in need of clothing. Specific sizes include Men: Medium and Large, shoes 8.5 and Women: Large and XLarge, shoes 8.5. I will have a dropbox at my desk at work and can also pick up from the Charleston area so feel free to message me on Facebook!

We want to mail the clothing next week so please look for items you can donate ASAP.

I will provide pictures and words of gratitude from the recipients so you will see and know directly how you've helped a small community get their lives back together.
