    Story

In collaboration with MGUK Foundation, our pilot education programme commenced in 2019 with the provision of desks for children at Street Kids Academy - a free school for children aged 4 to16 in Accra, Ghana. We continue to work with the Street Kids Academy to provide free literacy and numeracy education to enable disadvantaged children acquire basic skills required to join and succeed in mainstream fee paying primary school or learn vocational skills. Street Kids Academy graduates receive scholarships as part of their transition to fee-paying main stream primary school.

In London, we provide free English, Maths and Science lessons at New Life Tuition Centre and tackle food and education poverty in deprived communities.

Our outreach work highlighted the adverse impact of the global pandemic on the 100 children and communities we support in UK and Ghana. Although Ghana vision 2020 seeks to alleviate poverty and improve long-term economic growth, the street children and the families we support continue to live in extreme poverty. Our Big Lunch initiative provides more than 60 healthy meals.

Did you know that it costs less than £1 to provide a healthy school dinner for a child in Ghana and £2.50 for a child in UK? With your support, we hope to fund the annual cost of school meals and provide free educational resources including desks, books and free tuition for 100 children in Ghana and UK.

We believe that a good primary education will give disadvantaged children the right a foundation, lead them out of poverty and increase social mobility.

    Please help by donating:

£5 for a weekly healthy school meal for 1 child

£25 for a weekly healthy school meal for 5 children

£50 for a child to receive a healthy meal for a month

£100 for monthly tuition costs. All tuition is provided free of charge to the children.

Please donate and help us take action against education & food poverty, and put more smiles on the faces of the children.

    Thank you!
