I've raised £10000 to help purchase a double decker bus to transform into a safe space with 12 beds for homeless people in Glasgow #HelpTheHomelessGlasgow

We are looking to raise money to purchase a double decker bus to transform into temporary beds and a safe space at night for rough sleepers across Glasgow and use as a hub during the day, offering hot drinks, food and advice on the services to access for temporary accommodation.
Projects like this have been successful in England and we feel, due to the increasing numbers of people experiencing homelessness, that a bus in Glasgow would be very beneficial.
We are hoping to get this up and running before March 31st, when the winter night shelter closes, we feel that there are not enough places offering temporary accommodation to people who are not eligible to be accommodated by the local council.
Over the past 2 years we have had a large number of people from cities across Scotland and the rest of the UK and beyond, come to Glasgow to seek help amd accomodation but due to having no ties to the city, they often find themselves on the street. At HTHG we want to start bridging this gap and hope to have more than 1 bus in the near future.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.
Thanks guys
