Story
Jenny Otridge, my mother-in-law, told me many stories over the years of her beloved father, Hubert Lancaster Harcourt, who made his living as a commercial artist but who also painted, during WWII, scenes of his time as a soldier in the Pioneer Corps. His work was hidden away in an attic since his death in 1987 and as a result, he isn't widely known. He deserves to be. As a celebration she would be proud of, I have arranged to create a public exhibition of his work with a community arts gallery, but the costs of framing all the work for the exhibition is beyond the family's resources. We would like help towards this cost.

The Exhibition will be held at the Pounds Art Centre in the town of Corsham, Wiltshire from the 6th October 2023 to 4th November 2023.
