"On the 10th of December I wlll single handed attempt to complete 12hrs no stop on a spin bike. This will test me mentally and physically beyond my limits. The reason for this is 1. I want to see exactly what my breaking point is with my body and go way passed that and 2. I’m doing this to raise money for this fantastic local not for profit family support service.

There will be many families in the new year who will not be able to heat their homes. Warm banks provide a warm space for people . The Huddle's warm bank will be aimed at those who are pregnant as well as with little ones upto 7yrs old, and their relatives. Open to foster parents, carers and older relatives.

Those caring for little ones are often home most days, especially when the weather is cold. Many are on maternity pay or low wages, often parents are unemployed due to the high cost of childcare making working not always financially viable. This makes heating their homes essential but also costly.

As a parent many expressed their unease at attending other warm banks alone for a range of reasons. Creating a warm bank in The Huddle, a place many already feel a safe space, in a town center location seemed the best place to provide such a service.
