Story

The Linking Hands Enterprise is a social enterprise that is formed of parents and carers, and people with Learning Disabilities in Hammersmith and Fulham. They improve the Life chances of people with a Learning Disability. They work to benefit Adults with Learning Disabilities. The purpose of Linking Hands is to introduce opportunities, and variety for social interaction. To enable people with a Learning Disability to lead full, and purposeful lifes. The enterprise will empower people that use the services to make decisions, and shape their own lives. They work towards choice and control. The fundraising is to support people with Learning Disabilities, and parents to go to Africa to build houses, visit orphanages, and food banks. To raise monies to support people in Africa with Learning, and education. To have two vulnerable groups work together, and to support each other . The group has formed a choir to sing to people in Africa in churches, schools, and the orphanages. The money will fund the trip, and will finance the builds, and the support needed in the schools etc.
