As part of SRAC’s 40th Anniversary celebrations weekend, the Hugh McKenzie Memorial Trail Race is back! All funds raised will go to support the Western Isles Association for Mental Health, a charity incredibly important to the club.

Founded in memory of Hugh McKenzie, who sadly passed away under tragic circumstances in 2018, this event was created to ensure his memory lives on through celebrating his love of running and creating a welcoming environment for all.

The 6k race and relay means everyone is welcome to take part, either as a solo runner, or as part of a team of 3 taking 2km each.

Start time is 6.30pm on the 29th August 2025 from UHI North West and Hebrides.
