This fund will help us staus to keep the stress off financiall, help us pay for 6 weeks hotel sa, and all the other commitments we have over te next 2 years or so. Thank you so so much what we have so far has already reduced our stress so so much a will help us both to be close to Hugo .ur son Hugo needs a Bone Marrow Transplant. This is due to him having Beta Thalassemia Major which is a rare blood disorder. His bone marrow does not produce red blood cells.

Hugo is such a lovely happy boy and we need to give him the best chance of life as possible.

The bone marrow transplant will hopefully cure him from this. The procedure itself is very intense and dangerous. We are blessed as he has a donor who is a 99% match this reduces the risk of Graft verses host diseases.

There is a 6 week isolation stay in hospital after he has aggressive chemo therapy and new stem cells are put in. Then a 6 month isolation at home, traveling to London by car 2 to 3 times per week for the 6 months and a 12 month recovery period. (10% chance of death and 40% chance of Graft verses host)

The treatment is intense and we need to raise money for all the unforeseen things, the 6 week hospital we will need to rent an apartment for one of us, and the whole 12 months will be very difficult to work.

The money raised will help with the stress and burden also if there are any emergencies we would have the funds to act quickly..
