Story

I have decided to run 100 miles in July in aid of cure4hayley. Those if you who know my running schedule know it's pretty none existent, so running a long distance race is uncomfortable, but it's over in a few hours. This on the other hand will involve a daily struggle of making myself get I'm up and get out there. This will be much more of a challenge for me. So I'm hoping you all get behind me me and throw in a few pounds 😀
I first met Hayley many years ago when I was a student nurse. Hayley has dedicated her working lifecto the NHS. And is now unfortunately on the receiving end. Hayley has refused to give up, she wants to see her son Callum grow up, and be there for his milestones in life. Isn't that what all parents want.
Hayley has gone through years of chemotherapy, which takes it's toll, and can only do so much on Hayleys particular cancer. Hayley has found a drug that works, unfortunately it is not available to her on the NHS. Hayley has tried every avenue to get this drug funded for her, but kept hitting brick walls. Time is not something she can wait for. Hayley needed to start this sooner rather than later. She has managed to raise the funds to get the treatment started, and it's showing good results so far, we need to help Hayley keep this going.
Help keep Hayley alive, let Callum keep his Mum.
