    Story

Right now hundreds of thousands of people are suffering the aftermath of Hurricane Irma across the Caribbean Islands and this is likely to get much worst as the Hurricane tracks to the US coast. It is not just the extreme wind speeds that cause the damage, many coastal areas have and will also see massive storm surges and flooding. This makes large areas unfit to live in devastating entire communities and uprooting families from their homes.

I, like many others have been following Hurricane Irma's track over the last week and have been seeing the devastation it has already caused across the Caribbean Islands via Periscope and in the media in the last 24hrs. Irma has now become once of the most powerful Hurricanes on record and it is about to slam in to the US. we all saw the aftermath of Katrina... and the data is saying this is likely to be worst! Peoples lives are being ripped apart, homes destroyed and people need all the help they can get, food, water, medication and shelter is going to be needed. so I am asking you, my friend's and Family to help by giving a small donation (£2.50 the price of a coffee!) and then share this on to your friends and family, help me show there is still love in the world.

Why am I doing this? Like many of us, I have seen tragedy, suffering an destruction in the media all to much of late that has come from all over the world and have been powerless to assist instead just sit there glued to social media reading heart breaking stories of how people have lost everything begging for help and whilst I don't know these people personally I would like to think that if this happened to me/us someone out there would help in the same way.

where is the money going? The money raised will be split up and given to the charities working at ground level to assist there aid efforts and given to the people to provide water, food, medication and shelter.

Fees. so you are aware and to be transparent, there are fees that have to be covered by you donation these are - Just Giving take 5% , Paypal fee is 1.45% credit card charge fee 1.25% Administration fee 2%. I am Just someone who wants to make a difference to the lives of others in their time of need as I would hope someone would do the same in my time of need. It breaks my heart to see people in distress knowing if we all give a little it will mean a lot to so many.
