Thank you for helping me raise a brilliant £561 for #HelpTheRobinsons!

Saturday was the day of the Hever Castle 1 Mile Swim. The water was a chilly 13° as I slid into the depths with all the grace of a sealion. The first part was a bit scary, as you strike out for the middle of the lake. This was followed by a much shallower river section, then I was working my way towards the orange inflatable FINISH archway. I crawled out like a drowned rat and was given a medal and a paper cup of hot Ribena. I did it! More importantly, you've helped me raise over £550 for #HelpTheRobinsons, doubling my target amount.

Thank you so much for your support and donations! You've smashed my target of £250, and I can't wait to surprise Sam with at least £360 in the bag. I've just had a lovely swim in the Beckenham lake in the pouring rain, trialling the secondhand wetsuit I panic-bought from eBay in case I need it, so I feel well prepared for tomorrow. Stay tuned!
