Story

I will be cycling 300 miles this summer with my Dad, to raise money to support the great work Camps Foundation do with the help of young people like me who volunteer to work on key projects. In the summer of 2019, I will be working with the Camps Foundation on three key projects across Kenya.

My cycle challenge equates to the distance between Nairobi and Mombasa the approximate area I will travel whilst completing these projects

My cycle challenge begins on 13th May and will continue throughout the summer. As part of the challenge, I will complete five cycling events across Norfolk and Suffolk each between 50 and 75 miles, and will also include an open water swim across Alton water.

The money raised will support the work we will carry out on community, wildlife and environment projects to help the people of Kenya and the challenges they face.

Camps International are a UK charity that work on over 100 initiatives worldwide to support rural communities, protect wildlife and preserve fragile ecosystems. From housing and welfare that improving water and food security, to healthcare and sanitation, wildlife conservation and environmental protection that help to develop sustainable livelihoods, these projects are real, grassroots initiatives developed in partnership with local communities to tackle some of the day-to-day issues faced.

If you would like to support me, please donate through my Just Giving page. (Please note any donations received will not cover any of my costs to be part of the project, 100% of the money will go to support the projects).

I will keep you posted on how the training and events progress.
