Over a decade ago I fell in love whilst living in Zambia as a 19 year old.Alice was all that I loved about Zambia,beautiful,kind,genuine,graceful,caring and compassionate. Our relationship didn't last the course of young love as continents separated us but we kept in touch.
About a year after I left Zambia life dealt Alice a very hard blow.She was unjustly imprisoned on no charges for 6 months in conditions I can't even imagine.Through the diligence and hard work of her aunt,myself and a trusted friend we got her out of prison. We kept in touch over the next few years but these were pre Facebook days so eventually we lost touch.
About 4 months ago after a year of trying I tracked Alice down and we have been in touch since then. She is now the proud mother of a 5year old boy called Mahmoud. Again circumstances haven't favoured Alice,her ex partner became physically abusive and she is now raising her son as a single mother.
She was able to send Mahmoud to school for a year and he loved it and did very well but now Alice is not able to afford to send Mahmoud to school.
I feel it's time the universe gave Alice a good hand so my aim here is to raise enough to pay Mahmoud school fees for a few years and hopefully give Alice enough money to set herself up in business herself.
