I've raised £2500 to help kids living in poor communities across Indonesia learn to read, and to love reading.

I'm raising money for the Indonesian literacy charity I work for, which runs a program called Saya Suka Membaca - "I Love Reading."
One-third of Indonesian children leave primary school unable to read and understand a simple text. We're working for a future where all Indonesian children have the chance to learn to read, and to love reading.
We equip teachers across Indonesia to teach reading effectively by providing them with teaching materials, culturally relevant reading books, and training and on-going mentoring. To date more than 10,000 children across 12 Indonesian provinces have been taught using Saya Suka Membaca materials.
- £2.50 pays for an A4 Big Book for class teaching;
- £15 is the cost of a class set of one of our early reading books;
- £350 pays a months' salary for a teacher trainer & mentor.
- £2000 is the cost of a year's rent for our office.
