I2 intake at Essex Police College have decided to raise money for the Essex Retired Police Dog Fund. In many instances the retired police dog may be placed in caring homes after completing their service. After this point Essex Police are no longer responsible for the veterinary needs of the dog. Whilst we all know that veterinary and drugs bills can be very heavy, our charity is there to provide this extra support to our ex police dogs. These vital funds are needed to help ensure our dogs enjoy the retirement they deserve and not put financial burden on their new owners. As a charity, the Essex Retired Police Dog Fund is there to asisst in granting this financial support and providing healthcare to all dogs that have served with Essex Police. To raise money for this charity we have decided, as a class, to cycle from London to Paris on a stationary bike ride, which is 308 miles. Please donate anything you can, no matter how small, all donations are greatly appreciated.
