Firstly id like to thank anyone that has come this far and taken the time to read this.

In 2012 me and my ex partner fell madly in love and soon moved in together. I work full time, as did she, but we struggled to get by. Soon she started coming home wjth expensive gifts and treats and i wondered where all the money was coming from.

Little did i realise that this was the start of a downhill spiral of debt and misfortune. Over the next 2 years she managed to rack up a £12000 debt on a credit card under my name which was kept hidden from me.

I discovered that this card exhisted in early 2015 once the interest free period had run out and we started receiving letters about making payments to the card. I tried phoning the bank to see if there was anything they could do to help but was simply told i would need to repay the debt.

Im slowly managing to pay off the debt but as i am now single paying rent and other daily essentials it feels impossible to make an impact on this figure.

Im simply asking for help. If you have the choice between myself and someone that needs the money for an operation then please choose them not me. Mine is not an essential case, its just asking for a small act of kindness.
