Story

Unfortunately back in March Iain became quite poorly quite quickly which resulted with him having his appendix removed within 24 hours. Following his recovery from this Iain then recieved the news that the surgeon was worried as during the operation they spotted a suspicious looking lump but it was nothing to worry about as it was 'probably nothing'. Following several tests and several visits to Christies hospital in Manchester Iain was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that spreads through the tissues around your vital organs within the belly known as the omentum tissue. He has now been told further news that his cancer is also affecting his bowel so he will need a resection of his bowel aswell as the omentum tissue removed through a gruelling surgery. Iains final diagnosis is bowel cancer which he is facing with great strength and bravery.
At the beginning of september Iain will be going into christies for a operation that will last between 8-12 hours and that will result in a minimum of 3 months of work. Myself and the rest of Iains friends and family want to make his recovery as stress free and easy as possible and by donating you can all help Iain throughout his recovery.
Iain is a very proud man who has never, and will never ask for help and this is why myself and my colleagues have decided to help set up this page.
Thanks for reading and thanks for any help your able to offer.
