Story
i am me is i am me are taking part in the Cotswold Challenge this June and will be walking 50k in one day with other parents of young people. All in aid of raising funds for the i am me loo door campaign.
As a not-for-profit, i am me is 100% reliant on funding to ensure that our free app remains a free resource for all young people and that we can reach and support more and more young people each year. We don’t yet know the impact that lockdown has had on young people, but the feedback from the work we are doing with schools is that rates of self-harm are increasing. We are told that the toilet cubical is a place that young people retreat to during the school day when they feel unable to cope.
Please help us get our posters on the back of as many toilet cubicle doors in schools throughout the U.K. to let every young person know that they are not alone and there is support out there for them. Some schools have budgets for sign posting such as this, but so many do not.
About i am me:
Designed to educate, enable and empower, i am me helps young people cope with the pressures of growing up in today's fast-paced world.
i am me is all about prevention: equipping young people with the tools and know-how to better cope with the challenges that they face, through the i am me app, and face-to-face workshops.
Covering a range of themes relevant to those between the age of 11 and 24, the FREE app includes, self-help tools, mood indicators, stress tracker, plus specialist tools, tips, articles and coaching content that help young people to address any underlying difficulties, allowing them to create positive mental health.
