I came out of an abusive relationship early this year and thought enough is enough, I am not staying silent. I started to share my story on facebook by blogging and vlogging, raising awareness for the charity Women‘s Aid, which i hace raised over £400 for. I set up ‘I am Philippa’ which is now a registered company which supports Women’s Aid, The Wave Project, Crohns and Colitis UK, WWF and other charities and brands that help protect the planet and promote human rights. My name is Philippa Sparks and I am a Human Rights Campaigner and a model. I want to continue the work I do to help others who are in similar situations and help charities so that they can help victims of abuse. I was lucky enough to receive great care and support from my local community and friends. Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and mental health needs to be understood better in order to help others and the NHS has been fantastic with that understanding. Basic Human Rights, choice and freedom are key for those who have been through any form of abuse and understanding that we all have a voice and we can tell our stories and knowing that it is ok to do so is very important in my eyes. I want to help more and I thank you for your support.
