Story

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Halton Haven Hospice and Speed Of Sight and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

At the start of January 2021, what started off as an ageing bloke trying to get fit, has now developed into a huge 2-year running challenge (10km every day without fail) that will cover 7300km (4,536 miles) spanning numerous towns and cities across Europe.

I originally planned to run every day for 3 months, but after reaching the three-month mark, people suggested that if I continued they would give reasonable-sized donations which encouraged me to commit to the full year and they were absolutely true to their word. In fact, people were beyond amazing, helping me to raise over £5,000 for my chosen charities.

on reaching the year mark on NYE 2021 and handing over the cheques to the charities, for some reason, I have continued to run every day without publicising the fact, and now intend to complete 2 years, which, injury or illness apart I will reach on NYE 2022.

As a result, I now intend to recommence my fundraising efforts for the final 2 months of 2022 to help raise funds for Halton Haven Hospice and Speed of Sight.

Please give generously and help me to make a difference to these wonderful charities. Any amount, large or small would be hugely appreciated.
