Right then.....

Adam Tim and I are all good pals of Dave. In case you don’t know we all started a mad adventure called the Prison Service together way back on 20th June 2003. Within the first day we hit it of as friends were inseparable during the training. The banter and friendship started back on the first day and although some left before others in the service our friendship never went away.

Now you know how we came to have a great guy called Dave in our lives, next is what matters.

As you are aware Dave and his wonderful wife left Coventry to embark on a dream which saw them up sticks and move to New Zealand.

Within weeks Dave was diagnosed with Cancer, and with that the dream took a turn for the worst as all fairytales often do. To ensure this fairytale has a happier ending (which they deserve) some of Dave and Liz’s other wonderful friends have set up a page to raise funds for Dave and Liz so their very own ending can be achieved.

Now down to what matters.......

To ensure the happy ending is achieved we have decided to walk and Cycle over 150 miles from their home city of Coventry along the canals to the city of London where the journey will end outside the New Zealand embassy. The proposed start date of this journey is 15th July. Along the way we will be sleeping rough in order to raise money for their fundraising page.

The purpose of letting you all know is, we would like you to join us in any shape or form to make this possible. The 3 of us will be doing the whole journey over 5 days. We would need some support people to ensure the food and supplies arrive where we need it. But most off all the biggest supprt we need is for you to donate what you can to help us achieve this goal.
