I've raised £3000 to We will cycle Rochdale town hall to Blackpool tower - Sat 5th Sept 2020 - 7.30am start

At the end of july we received some sad news about one of the most genuine people we know. On this day, myself and the members at Rochdale Cricket Club found out that Kieran Stansfield had been diagnosed with cancer. Kieran had been to the doctors about 4 weeks ago where he was told he had 4" tumor on is lung; this turned out to be around 10 weeks old. On Wednesday 29th July the doctors delivered the worst possible news that it has spread into his bones as well. The Doctors have advised him that without treatment he will only have 6 moths with us. If Kieran decides to undergo treatment there is a possibility of extending this time-frame.
Kieran is 51 and has been following the Rochdale Cricket Club (THE DALE) home and away since the age of 4. Kieran has 3 boys who he's managed to drag to most games by bus, train, old vans and lifts with players. He's always got them there and he hasn't missed a Rochdale Cricket Club game at home or away for 12 years. Rochdale takes up a massive place in his heart He had a meeting ( 31st July) regarding shrinking tumor.
On Sunday 1st August we decided to undertake a challenge to raise funds for Kieran. We want him to take his family away and make the most of the up and coming tough months ahead, MAKING MEMORIES IS OUR MAIN GOAL .
The funds will be used to aid Kieran and his family to have the most memorable time possible. The urgency of this is paramount and timing is of the essence.
We have decided to work in conjunction with the three peaks challenge and do our very own Rochdale town hall to Blackpool tower bike ride - this will be on Saturday 5th September 2020 And also walk scafel pike with keith hook, paul caveney and gary white
