My club needs to raise £5000 for new diving blocks, which means any money raised here goes directly towards the funding.To raise the money, I plan to swim both the 1.5k and 3k races at the National Open Water Festival in July. I've never swum this far in open water before, so this will be a real challenge.

The club is full of talented and dedicated swimmers, who can and have potential to compete successfully at every possible level. To help achieve this they need good quality equipment to practice their skills. The current blocks aren't really fit for purpose anymore, so replacing them would be extremely beneficial. Additionally the club has been a huge source of support for me personally over the last couple of years. I want to show them how much they mean to me, and completing these swims seems like a fitting way to do it.
