    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Hello. My name is Ian and I'm trying to raise funds to replace my scooter which was stolen yesterday.

I use this scooter for work, I'm an Uber Eats delivery driver. I was at work today picking up my second order, but when I exited the restaurant some bike thieves were running away with my scooter. I'm disabled and couldn't chase them and by the time the police arrived they were gone.

This is the 3rd scooter I've had stolen this year and each time it happens I fall further into debt until I can get a replacement and start working again. I had just finished paying off all my debts from the last theft, but I feel like this one might break me.

I work 60 hours a week to earn money to keep myself and my USA based family solvent and send most of my wages to my wife and child in the States. This means that I have little to no capital to replace my scooter. I tried for bank loans, but because I only returned to the UK a year ago, my credit rating is very poor and nobody will touch me.

If you could please help me I would be in your debt forever. My family and I need your help today
