As a family, we are raising money in loving memory of our beloved Ian and to thank the incredible team at his care home, who looked after him with such kindness, compassion, and dignity during the final stages of his life.

Watching a loved one live with dementia is an incredibly difficult journey, but knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him brought us great comfort. The staff showed him patience, respect, and warmth every day, and their support meant so much not only to him but to our entire family.

This fundraiser is our way of expressing our heartfelt gratitude and giving something back to a place that gave our beloved Ian such wonderful care when he needed it most. We hope the funds raised will help the care home continue providing the same exceptional care and support to other residents and their families.
