£50raised of £10,000 target by 1 supporter

Weʼve raised £50 to Help to build a house for a family in Burkina Faso

Funded on Friday, 27th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

I have been sponsoring Roger Bara a 13 yr old boy for nearly 6 yrs now and have visited him and his family in Bobo, Burkina Faso four times whilst out there helping with building projects for a local church.

During my visit I was informed that Roger and his family will be loosing the building they call home as a new Goverment road will go straight through the area. They wont be given any other land to build a house. Roger's mum only earns £5 a week.

I decided to buy land and get a house built for them as they are like my own family. I have been fortunate enough to raise the money needed to buy the land but now I need to raise £10,000 to build their house.

Please can you help by giving what you can. If 100 people took on the challenge of getting 10 people to give £10 only then the money would be raised. Thank you so much in advanced.
