I will be travelling to one of the refugee camps in Greece during November to work as a volunteer. The 60,000 refugees stuck there have disappeared from the headlines, but remain in difficult conditions throughout the country and there are still hundreds of people arriving by boat each week needing support. I will be there for 3 weeks and would like be able to raise some funds to spend directly on the refugees needs and also help a little towards my volunteering. I have volunteered before , and I know I have asked for your help before, but if you have ever met a person who is a refugee, or are a refugee yourself, you will know how important it is that we give these people some hope for the future, show them some compassion, and show that we care.

Just a warm secondhand hat can raise a smile, think what a few pounds could do!
