I'm raising £8000 to support these four great causes. Please read below.

Story

Inspired by Olly Murs' walk/cycle for Sports Aid, I will be walking/cycling from Belfast to The London Stadium next Spring. I will be raising money for The MS Trust (my wife has MS), Military vs Cancer (I am a Royal Navy Veteran and my dad died of Cancer), The West Ham Foundation and DT38 (The Dylan Tombides Foundation) (both of these causes close to the hearts of West Ham fans).

I would love to be able to give £2,000 to each charity, hence the £8k target, but whatever is raised, it will be shared equally.

Starting with a short 5 mile walk from Belfast Centre to the Stena Line ferry terminal on 25th March for the overnight ferry, the walk gets serious on the morning of 26th with eight days of 25 miles to get to the stadium. Hoping to do more in the first few days so that we arrive early on Saturday 3rd April.

The UK Armed Forces and Veteran networks along with the UK wide football family are vast so I really hope thousands of you and perhaps the odd multi-national (lol) can get behind me.
