I've raised £500 to support NHS projects, and local charities struggling to keep working in these challenging times.

Over the last 7 years, the Humber Bridge Sportive event has supported local charities to the tune of £80,000, but the 2020 ride has understandably had to be postponed until 2021.
In recent weeks, as the photos show, we have donated money to a group of ladies who are making up scrubs for the NHS, and have helped to set up a Food Bank in the Community Centre in Hessle - this is a long term project that will continue once the current crisis has passed.
There are lots more projects out there right now that are in urgent need of support, so in an attempt to generate money for NHS initiatives, and local charities whose funds are drying up, I am planning to ride all 3 sportive routes consecutively during this lockdown period - VIRTUALLY: 21, 41, 61 - that's 123 miles during 1 day, including elevation, on a static bike linked to a cycling app.
Once I have completed the challenge, I will upload the rides to Strava, and share the links. I hope you will be able to support this challenge so that we can continue to help those less fortunate in our local area! Thank you!
