My son and I are running to raise cash for Bereaved Children Support York. This charity was set up to help bereaved children and their families to get valuable help in extremely difficult times following the death of a loved one.

This charity was started by a friend of ours, Jo, who suddenly lost her husband not too long ago. Not only did she lose her husband, but Jonny lost his dad while he was still so young.

Nobody prepares you for times like these, and there was no real help and support. Jo also has MS, so life is pretty tough on a daily basis.

Jo is determined to help others in similar circumstances and that is why the charity "Bereaved Children Support" was set up to help families in their darkest hours.
