Hi All,

Just to let those of you who don't know already, I am cycling Lands End to John O Groats. This will be no mean feat, as I have chosen to challenge myself and ride approximately 100 miles a day for 10 consecutive days. Added to that, I know you won't believe it but, I am 62. I have decided to do the ride for a charity.

The charity is the Sussex Eye Foundation - this is dear to my heart as I have had four operations and will be needing more in the future. Sadly, they do not have a JustGiving page of their own, and so I am willing to take pledges and will follow up once I have completed the ride.

The ride starts Thursday 23rd August and I will be in John O Groats (God Willing!) on Saturday 1st September.
