    Story

In the early hours of the morning on Monday 7th August 2017, Mr Ian Wilcox was driving to work on Tonge Moor Road in Bolton. Tragically, his car was hit by another car containing a drunk driver and sadly he did not make it.
He was the greatest son, son in law, brother in law and best friend anyone could wish for. But most of all he was the best husband to his wife Cathryn and the worlds greatest daddy to his 2 beautiful daughters aged 4 and 9.
Ian was a beloved Bolton Wanderers fan, a great lover of Queen and of course he was partial to a pint or ten! He was the life and sole of the party, loved getting together with his mates and doted on his gorgeous wife and children.
As you can imagine, Ian has left a huge void in everyones lives. We wanted to set up this Just Giving page to raise funds for Ians family so they can create a memorial in his honour. Somewhere they can visit for years to come and somewhere his daughters can go to remember their daddy.
Every penny counts so please give what you can to support this amazing cause!

A message from Cath, Ian's wife:- To all our family and friends, I would like to share the arrangements with you for my Ian's farewell. Friday 25th August 3.30pm at East Lancs Crem (Radcliffe) and afterwards at BWFC home ground - platinum suite. We hope you will join us and show us your support on what will be an extremely difficult day. I am asking for no black, no suites, come as you would if you were having a drink with us. Thank you everyone x
