I'm raising £7,000 for a creative project to run the art and craft workshop at Akwaaba. We run it twice a month at kilburn and twice in Hackney to be more accessible to our members (migrants, Refugees, Asylum Seekers, homeless people and British as well). We are welcoming English people as we believe we are all one community. We have a very big diversity in our group which allows us to know more from different cultures. It is a safe and warm place to make friends, be creative and learn English at the same time. The painting and textiles improve our member's mental health and well-being.

We offer art material and travel expenses as most of our member lives far and can't afford to come. We try to reuse plastic bottles and draft papers to make artwork. We help our members by second-hand cloth. We cannot run it without you. We need your help to continue this safe environment.
