The Ide Hill playground is in desperate need of replacing. Its nearly 30 years old and is now dangerous. With over 150 children using the playground on a regular basis a group of local families has been fundraising and applying for grants over the last 5 months.
The group has been sucessful in being awarded a grant from Ibstock Cory. They have been collecting tokens in Tesco and Waitrose. They have had great fundraising events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and other fundraisingevents planned please email idehillplayground@gmail.com for more information.
This is the last push to raise the money, so that the contract can be awarded in July and work can start in September.
Nearly 30,000 has already been raised and this is the last push to raise the last 20,000.
