Greetings, my name is Ifeanyi Ukeje, am 25 years old from Nigeria, i got accepted to study the MD(Doctor of Medicine) degree by September this year 2016 at Windsor University School of Medicine located in St Kitts and Nevis, West Indies, Caribbean, but unfortunately to me this school do not offer scholarships, grants or loan to African financially challenged students like me to help with tuition, accommodation and other fees. However i have written to some international banks located in St Kitts and Nevis about obtaining a student loan and they have accepted to offer me a student loan that would cover the cost of my attendance in medical school for the four year MD degree but i need to be in St Kitts first to be able to make application for such. Please i humbly appeal to everyone for financial help to cover the first mandatory payment of 3990$ tuition, $2000 security deposit, $2010 accommodation and $4000 travel from Nigeria to the island of St Kitts and Nevis and commence my studies by January 2017 to enable me achieve my dream of becoming a world renowned Urologist despite my poor background hence give back to the poor and less privileged in my society and beyond in the nearest future. Below is an insight on why i want to become a medical Doctor. Becoming a medical doctor or physician is a dream I had from age 10 due to the belief about doctors being respected in the society and every parent wanted his or her child to become a medical doctor, but as I grew older, I now realised that there is more to being a medical doctor far from the norm, because of the strong passion and love that I began to develop for the sick and less privileged around me. I want to be there to help people. As a doctor you share in people’s darkest and happiest moments. That is a privilege. You are the one whose opinion they trust, whose advice they ask; the one who can change their life. You can heal people. Make them better.
