SAVE was formed by four former footballers involved in the childhood sexual abuse scandal which hit the headlines in late 2016. Having been brought together we quickly fomed a close bond and a common desire to turn our experiences into something positive. We decided that the most powerful way to do that was to become safeguarding trained and be able to deliver the message of our lived experiences by training others. We are now in a position to offer the same path to survivors of any type of childhood abuse in any setting and are looking for funding assistance to help us do that. The Survivor's voice is a powerful one and by empowering it we can make a huge difference to the safeguarding landscape. Thank you. David, Derek, Ian & Paul
