Story

After visiting Kigumba in 2016 for a missionary visit, I fell in love with the people there, especially their spirit of determination to make the best out of life despite having meagre means. I was moved and touched by the work of an NGO run by an English Gentleman, Hugh Pilcher who runs the Schools programme together with the Children with special needs programme in Kigumba.

These programmes raise finance from donors abroad to sponsor primary education for the poorest, most vulnerable children in Kigumba and they also provide wheelchairs and weekly social support for children living with disability in the community.

Mothers and guardians are given assitance to grow vegetables on allotments for food, and taught practical care giving skills at the special needs club held each week in the town.

The chidlren you see in the photo above are all sponsored. But so many more children are desperately waiting in hope. We are returning with a team to Kigumba in the second week of May 2018, so we are appealing for donations towards this outreach. #AccessforAllCampaign

Help us put a smile on the faces of more disabled children like Brian below.

Last but not least, let us open up a whole new world of opportunity to these precious children by donating towards their school fees for next term. The Schools programme provides #AccessForAll regardless of tribe or faith.

I promised them we would help. Even the little you give will make a BIG difference in their lives?

As we always say, "a little given faithfully and regularly goes a long way!"

I hope you will team up with us.

Blessings
