Story
Hello there!
I'm an international GBR Synchronised swimmer, silver medalist at FINA World Series in Paris 2019 and 14 times medalist at British Championships, Swim England National Championships and Italian Championships so far .
Alongside my training, since 2016 I'm currently a volunteer head coach of Team Bath Synchro Club and Uni of Bath Synchro club too, with the aim of creating the first fully integrated talent/education program stretching from local grassroots up to the university level by giving the opportunity to all our members to practice synchro both at performance and recreational level. These are the basics for the first professional synchro academy in the country, which will create a better environment for athletes willing to practice this sport without worrying about finance in the future. This is my legacy for the future.
As a non-funded full-time athlete and coach, it's becoming very challenging to self-sustain myself. My training requires 5 hours a day minimum when based in Bath, whilst when we train altogether with the whole GB team it's between 8-10 hours a day. This means that my time - especially during training camps - is very limited for working. That's why I need your help in order to achieve my dream: represent GBR internationally until the end of the current Olympic cycle to leave it in a better position in the world ranking!
The money will help support my competitions expenses, GBR fees and my training plan including my coaches fees so to allow me to still be part of the GBR national senior team and help Great Britain to rise in the world ranking all the way up to the end of the current Olympic cycle.
No money will be used for any personal use which would not concern my synchro activity as an athlete. This will only help me during this period of my life until when I can dedicate all my time to the Team Bath academy and a decent work thanks to my two degrees (BSc and MA).
