I've raised £1000 to Raise money for Ilfracombe Junior school.

Three mums on the run... raising money for Ilfracombe Junior school and running the London marathon.
On Sunday April 26th, 2020, Becky Williamson, Karley Wells and Beth Barrington will be each running 26.2 miles. We will have spent up to 6 months each training for this event. We have decided to use this opportunity to raise money for the school four of our children go to, Ilfracombe Junior school.
In Devon, because of government funding, every pupil is worth £294 less than the national average (source taken from Devon Live, April 2019). Our junior school is continually seeking funds so as to not restrict their curriculum, to support children's emotional health and well being and provide adequate resources. Current projects include 'Growing Together' which includes outdoor exercise equipment, sensory garden, poly tunnel and gardening opportunities for the students and local community. Your donations will go directly towards making all of the above successful.
We really, really appreciate all your donations. Your support will mean so much to us when the going gets tough, when toe nails start dropping off, when the cramp sets in, when the chafing makes us wince, when the blisters start to pop, when the training schedule demands a 20 mile run on a freezing February morning that has to be done at 6am as we're all juggling busy family lives. At those times will we be encouraged by what these donations will mean to our local school.
And if you're feeling inspired then understand this... never set limits. Never put up boundaries. You do not know what you are capable of. Ilfracombe Running Club meets every Thursday at 7pm, football club. All abilities are always welcome.
On behalf of the staff and children from Ilfracombe Junior school, we thank you so much.
