Firefighters from Ilkley and other West Yorkshire Fire Stations are once again running the Ilkley Half Marathon – this time in memory of two firefighters who sadly passed away. Darren Abrams who died while on duty in November 2022 and Paddy McCarney who died in May 2023.

Firefighters will be running (some in full breathing apparatus) to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity as the nominated charity by Darren and Paddy’s families.
