A group of us are taking part in the Great North Run to raise money for I’m George’s Mate.

I’m George’s Mate was set up after George attempted suicide in June 2023. Thankfully George is still with us and making good progress, but whilst sitting in hospital with him, his family and friends started the charity.

The charity was originally set up to support young people between the ages of 14-25 however we are supporting children as young as 6 and adults into their 60’s.
