I'm participating in the The Great Escape 2018, where the aim is to get as far from Nottingham as possible within 36 hours, without any of our own money! The all-time University of Nottingham record is Dubai, whilst the global record belongs to the University of Cambridge in which two students managed to reach Australia - hence why we're aiming for New Zealand!

As for the cause, Enactus Nottingham is a not-for-profit, student-led organisation that exists within the University of Nottingham. They work to transform the lives of people in need through the power of business. They do this by setting up social enterprises that provide employment and their by-product does both social and environmental good.
