Anyone who knows Jambo (Jamie MacClean) knows that he has the biggest heart and will do anything to help a person in need.
He is always going out of his way to helps those he knows and loves as well as total strangers who just needed help. Hes just that kind a guy.
A month ago, at 38 years of age Jambo had a massive heart attack in work. Despite the wonderful medical care and treatment he has had since, his heart has not been able to recover and he is urgently waiting a transplant.
To help Jambo on his road to recoverywe at Vale Crossfit are taking on a mammoth challenge. On the 5th of September as a gym we are going to carry out “Our Hearts 2 Yours” fundraiser.
The goal is, as a gym, to complete the 310km distance from Barry to the hospital where Jambo is currently awaiting his treatment, via row, ski and bike erg. We estimate it will take about 4 to 5 hours.
Any donation will be so gratefully received as we know Jambo has a long road to recovery ahead of him. No contribution is too small.
